From February 8th to 22nd, registration is open for the V Edition of the “Festival Fotografia em Tempo e Afeto”, which was born from the desire to expand Rondônia’s visual sense of belonging, and this year has “the environment” as its central theme.

Since 2017 and annually, the streets of the city of Porto Velho and nearby communities are occupied with visual compositions provoked from the inside out, cherishing the sense of access and inclusion, from the construction of alternative forms and inclusive processes.

According to the organization, “the climate agendas have influenced many ideas about ‘environment’, among which the Amazon is the center. What allows us an opportune space to deal with this theme, even proposed to be thought, by us, from within these many Amazons; thus, starting from the assumption that if my environment is the environment, what is my environment? What is there in it? What makes me stay?”
