OCAA Webinars – What is the bioeconomy that the Amazon wants?

The OCAA (Observatory of Trade and Environment in the Amazon) promotes the series of webinars “Dialogues on the Amazon bioeconomy and international trade”, bringing together representatives from the private sector, academia, and civil society organizations, with the aim of understanding what criteria should define the Amazon bioeconomy, opportunities and challenges, and its viability in Brazil and abroad.

In this meeting, there will be an introduction of different strands and concepts of the bioeconomy, as well as a presentation of the fundamental pillars worked on by IPAM’s Bioeconomy Working Group. Participants will also discuss its applicability in different contexts in the Amazon and its population.
