Support Institute for Amazon Concertation

With the growth and consolidation of its activities—and following five years of being legally hosted by the Arapyaú Institute—Uma Concertação pela Amazônia established the Support Institute for an Amazon Concertation in 2025. This is a non-profit civil association dedicated to providing institutional, administrative, financial, and logistical support to the Network.

A criação do Instituto responde à necessidade de fortalecer a estrutura de apoio à Concertação, às suas iniciativas, projetos e parcerias, em coerência com a complexidade e a diversidade de sua atuação. É uma entidade de caráter puramente operacional.

The creation of the Institute addresses the need to strengthen the support structure for Concertation—as well as its initiatives, projects, and partnerships—in a manner consistent with the complexity and diversity of its activities. It is a purely operational entity.

The creation of the Institute does not alter the nature of the Concertation, which continues as an independent and diverse network dedicated to enriching public debate, coordinating diverse perspectives, and forging pathways for the development of the Amazon regions. Its communication remains pluralistic, avoiding singular stances on controversial issues.
