Spiral

The (re)cognition and articulation of all forms of knowledge about and from the Amazon are a priority in the work of Amazon Concertation.

With this purpose, the Spiral of Knowledge was created as a living instrument of reflection and systematization: a space that brings together technical, scientific, traditional and sensitive publications, guiding the design of proposals and concrete actions for the sustainable development of the region.

Constantly updated and expanding, the Espiral makes studies produced by organizations within the network freely available. More than a repository, it is a continuous process of (re)cognition and deepening, reflecting the collective maturation of the Concertation.

Currently in its Cycle 3, Espiral incorporates the 12 structuring themes addressed in the publication “Proposals for the Amazon – An Integrated Look at the Development Agenda”. The previous cycles laid the foundation for this work: Cycle 1 (2020) was fundamental for the systematization of the document An Agenda for the Development of the Amazon, and Cycle 2 (2021) expanded the thematic axes and deepened the network’s activities.
