On November 29th, the Center for Sustainability Studies at FGV EAESP launches the publication “Independent Territorial Monitoring in the Amazon: reflections on strategies and results”.

The book is the result of efforts by civil society organizations and research institutions to systematize and give visibility to the experiences of independent territorial monitoring in Amazonian territories. The publication integrates activities for the construction of the Independent Territorial Monitoring Network (Rede MTI), a collaborative process facilitated by FGVces.

The event will include a round of dialogues with some of the organizations and researchers who built the chapters, highlighting the importance of independent monitoring in the analyzed contexts.
