In the second webinar on Value Chains, the Humanize Institute invites its partners to launch the ‘Study on the Viability of the Value Chain of Artisanal Fisheries in the Regions of Pará and Bahia’, carried out in partnership with the UNDP.

The event will be opened by Maristela Baioni, UNDP Assistant Resident Representative, and Ana Carolina Szklo, Humanize’s Sustainability Manager. The study will be presented by Leonardo Borges, executive director at Gestão Econômica da Sociobiodiversidade Brasileira (Gbio), and by Luis Lima, consultant at Pontus Consultoria Ambiental.

The webinar will also include the presentation of success cases such as the projects ‘Fishing forever – Pará’, with Simone Madalosso, RARE-Brazil’s Governance and Development analyst; and ‘Olha o Peixe’ – with Bryan Müller, executive director of the initiative, whose purpose is to strengthen artisanal fishing in Pará.
