Climate connects the Amazon to the Pan-Amazon region, to Brazil, and to the world. Three COPs have passed, and the quality of this debate has been enriched by the reclaiming of Indigenous identity proposed by Gustavo Caboco—who, through feet and roots, highlights people’s connection to their territories even when they are no longer there—; by Bonikta’s enchanted beings, whose fine lines add a layer of sensitivity to the rivers; and by Chermie’s digital biodiversity, which illustrates the timelessness of nature through contemporary graffiti. Between sky and earth lies the power of cinema to keep the firmament from falling.
