At just 12 years old, Antônio II, from Amazonas, is already considered a great artist. He began painting at age four, when he discovered the world of the Parintins Festival and his gift for drawing. Nature is one of the boy’s main sources of inspiration. According to him, his influences come from “nature, humankind’s relationship with the Amazon, social issues, the 1922 Modern Art Week, music movements such as Tropicália, and other musicians, singers, and songwriters.” Using wax crayons, acrylic paint, oil paint, and colored pencils in his creations, Antônio is the artist inspiring the visual identity of the Concertation’s social media channels in April and May.
