Poetics of the Possible
Visual Proposals for an Integrated Agenda
In this exhibition, we present a unique set of visual works created especially for the document “Proposals for the Amazon: an integrating agenda,” developed by Uma Concertação pela Amazônia. Each image is a work of art — a gesture of listening, a poetic hypothesis, a sensitive experiment that interprets the central axes of the agenda (such as education, health, bioeconomy, culture, biodiversity, and innovation) from Amazonian perspectives.
The works gathered here reveal the vibrancy and plurality of the Amazon, where science and art intertwine to tell stories of memory, resistance, and the future. Education emerges from everyday life, the bioeconomy unfolds in layers of symbolic relationships with the land, and science takes shape in ancestral knowledge and the invisible technologies of traditional communities. Knowledge is not confined to laboratories — it is planted, fished, and sung. In this encounter of languages, art and science do not merely illustrate one another: together, they construct an ecology of knowledge capable of sensitizing, provoking, and proposing new imaginaries for Brazil and the world.
