Gallery

Art mobilizes, moves, and sensitizes. Artistic expressions humanize and ground discussions in the territory. They update imaginaries, break stereotypes, and reveal the complexity of the Amazon. Opening spaces for artistic manifestations and for the artists themselves is part of the initiative’s way of being and expressing itself, seeking to connect the technical and the sensitive, showing that this is not only possible but necessary and urgent. The Amazon Gallery is a space created and cared for with this purpose: to (re)present the Amazon through different perspectives and techniques.

Miguel Penha

Whoever stands before the large canvases signed by the artist, with their filtered light, deep colors, and deliberate absence of human or animal figures, receives an invitation to enter the forest and allow themselves to be enveloped by it
