São Paulo fair hosts photo exhibition highlighting the Amazon region and traditional peoples

From the 24th to the 28th of this month, the initiative Uma Concertação pela Amazônia will be taking part in the new SP-Arte fair, Rotas Brasileiras, one of the most important art market events in the country. Curated by researcher, photographer and journalist Eder Chiodetto, Concertação invited six photographers to fill a 100m² space with different visions of the Amazon. The initiative’s stand will feature works by Paula Sampaio, Marcela Bonfim, Rogério Assis, Edu Simões, João Farkas and Lalo de Almeida (see artists’ mini-bio below).
