The first carimb\u00f3 group in Brazil made up entirely of Indigenous women, founded in 2018 in Alter do Ch\u00e3o (Par\u00e1), with members from the Borari, Arapium, and Tapaj\u00f3 peoples. They sing in Portuguese and Nheengatu about ancestry, women’s rights, and the environment. They took part in the show Gales (Ventanias), presented at the Baile na Terra festival in September 2022 at Tendal da Lapa, in S\u00e3o Paulo, in celebration of Amazon Day.
