A visual artist, printmaker, sculptor, and draftsman born in Manaus, he is the son of the poet An\u00edbal Be\u00e7a. Since 1992, he has been researching Indigenous societies and works with woodcut, linocut, rubber stamps, and metal sculpture. His work revolves around the tensions between the ancestral and the urban Amazon, between forest and city, addressing displacement, territory, and belonging. He took part in the group exhibition Cycles for Tomorrow, held in May 2022 at Manart Galeria in Manaus and online on the Concertation’s website, curated by Hadna Abreu and Anna L\u00f4yde Abreu.
